Having said that, the book is still interesting as we follow the life of Callie-Rose; the child of Sephy and Callum as she comes to term with her mixed-race identity and where she belongs Unfortunately, I have to say the books get less amazing as the series progresses. My order came super quickly, was exactly what I needed and was in fabulous condition. Blackman is a terrific thriller writer, driving her plots forward with skill and tenacity — Dinah Hall Evening Standard.
This does eventually change, but not until about two-thirds into the book. Another book in the amazing Noughts and Crosses series that was amazing. Callum then gives Sephy instructions to escape. Because at least she was here to hate me. The ending of the book is bittersweet. Sephy takes a pregnancy test, which reveals she is pregnant with Callum’s child.
