‘How to Ravish A Rake’ by Vicky Dreiling
This story is the third in a series, but you don’t need to read the other two and it easily stands alone. Mar 21, Jess the Romanceaholic rated it really liked it Shelves: Quotes from How to Ravish a Rake. He knows Amy has a fortune, and if he compromises her, he can pay off his debt. Will and Amy get caught in a compromising position, even if it may have been innocent and Will steps up to be the gentleman hiding under that rake facade, saving Amy’s reputation.
The book starts off with the hero making some pretty dumb decisions, then acts like a complete dork with the heroine, then suddenly he is acting all nice and normal nothing rakish about him. This is an absolute MUST read! Amy was such a contradiction, even to herself.
Winter’s Snow by Carrie Hope Fletcher. I do see them as a believable couple and I enjoyed their times together, getting to know each other physically and emotionally. She is hoping for a love match, failing which she may have to return to her parents in the country and marry the local vicar.
Dreiling failed to capitalize on any of these strengths. A rake; he’s messing with her head – couldn’t really be interested in plain old Amy. I was able to lean back and think myself into another world. But when the ravishing starts She guards her wounded heart behind a hard exterior and carries within her a deep mistrust of men, who, in her experience, have only ever used and taken.
That brings us to our delightful hero, Will. Piatkus Devil in Spring Lisa Kleypas. When it becomes clear Freya is in grave danger, he’ll risk everything to keep her safe.
She is, however, truly sorry for accidentally setting off a security alarm in Windsor Castle. I got so wrapped up in How to Ravish a Rake that I read it in a day, non-stop. Buy How to Ravish a Rake: Will is cut off from his heritage and cannot no longer travel abroad away from his meddling family. As much as I wish I could go back to this time period and wear the fancy dresses and attend the balls myself, I guess I have to be contempt with reading about it which is perfectly okay with me if they end up being as awesome as this book!

How to Ravish a Rake (How To #3) by Vicky Dreiling
So far this is my favorite book in the series. Other books in the series. The humor was nicely balanced with dreilibg romance between these characters.
Not all historical “go there”: And after she and Will are forced into a marriage to avoid scandal, dreilinv doesn’t back down and do what society expects her to do live a separate life from Will after popping out an heir. I have to say I’m picking up the two in the series before this! The actions he took to get what he wanted I simply couldn’t condone.
