Jul 23, Macfrickins rated it liked it. Richard Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller was an American architect, systems theorist, author, designer, and inventor.

A pretty fun book. Seeing my involvement in the eighty-year-old Socialist Party and probably pitying my antiquated sympathies, he recommended this, Fuller’s last book, as a more modern and relevant diagnosis of social problems and potential solutions. Some parts feel prescient for a book this old, but others seem woefully misguided in light of developments since then.

The good news is, well, there is no good news, no charity, no goodness at all. I came away from the book wondering what the actual main point guller it was.

Want to Read saving…. The best thing is that Fuller was asking deeper questions than most people venture to on their own, even if his conclus Weird book, read it because Robert Kiyosaki talks a lot about it. This book is such a challenge to politics and politicians because it advocates looking at life and humanity from an entirely different perspective than any of their ilk.

Fuller published more than 30 books, coining or popularizing terms such as “Spaceship Earth”, ephemeralization, and synergetic. Will give my honest review once I am done. It’s like Ayn Rand but without the anti-community bias. As an inventor and designer he has a brilliant mind. Got geared up after listening to Robert Kiyosaki.
