We get a glimpse of Graitaan’s early life which makes him a sympathetic character right away. I dreaded meeting his father, the king. We first This book is the prequel to the two other books in this fantasy series: It was much different from the previous books in the Gaven series but I felt since this one focused on two new characters it fit and felt exactly right.
