To be honest, the LM isn’t really needed, it could be run directly off the battery. Forums New posts Search forums.
I think even 10K’s would work, someone out there would know. At the time I didn’t have the manual switch installed.

I am using a ohm resistor ahead of the diodes because that is what I have. Your pump needs a much higher current. This site datazheet cookies to help personalise content, tailor your experience and to keep you logged in if you register. I had false triggering on my timer setup then I added a microF cap.

Thanks for the schematic. Is this what you mean? Boncuk shows a rifz30 that isolates the trigger pin 2 of the timer with a transistor.
Consider some small 0. By that I do not mean that Jacbk will be one of them. Welcome to our site! There are dataaheet few differences compared to the one I have tried and shown above. I will give this a shot. It might be necessary to use two diodes to form a simple OR function, but you might get away with changing the gate resistor to say 1K and having another 1K via your now low-current switch.
Electro Tech is an online community with overmembers who enjoy talking about and building electronic circuits, projects and gadgets. Potentiometer Questions Started by norbss Yesterday at I tried doing the same thing with mine to see if it was helpful in regards to the effect of the manual switch but it was not. Xatasheet diagram was jrfz30 to suggest a way to manually turn the pump on – yes a complete redesign is necessary. I’ve read so many threads where the original OP is OP right? Thread starter jacbk Start date Mar 6, I certainly will not, I appreciate all the help I can get.
Your schematic does not show a part number for your Mosfet. Now when I use the manual switch it sets off the timer. Wooops, I think I need to dafasheet the manual switch diode out ahead of the pin 3 diode. Somewhere it says the motor is a 6V motor so maybe 9V adtasheet too much for it. Articles Top Articles Search resources. On the LM you have a capacitor which is wrong in parallel with the ohm resistor from the output to the ADJ pin but the datasheet has only the resistor or the resistor datasheey an added parallel diode when the ADJ pin has a capacitor to ground.
Way too low for most Mosfet gates.
Keep it simple and cheaper! Is a little 9V battery able to produce enough power to drive the motor? I can tell by the sound of the pump, and allot less flow is being produced. In fact, always check datasheets False triggering of a timer. Jacques, Instead of a relatively high current switch to operate the pump motor, why not just provide a low-current with series resistor input to the MOSFET? Both the schematics in the 1st post of this thread show a 9v battery, but I will wait until jacbk replies – at least we are not wasting our time.
With a 5V supply the datasheet of an ordinary shows that its output goes as high as only 3.
And yes, we need to know the spec of the pump motor Started by fastline Yesterday at 8: You must log in or register to reply here. Last edited by a moderator:
