It goes along really well with the RTK books, and you may even be allowed to skip some lessons since you will be familiar with the stroke orders.
Now admittedly this is in line heisiig my whole philosophy of learning Japanese by using itbut even if one wasn’t using our overall approach I would strongly recommend this.

There are no discussion topics on this book yet. The mnemonics helped for me cuz I can sorta place a story to each of them. This article contains content that is written like an advertisement. The author uses the so called “primitives”, simple images, which he puts in order to form the easy to remember story.
A sixth edition was released in April This book will help you teach yourself the writing and reading of all 46 characters each of Japanese hiragana and katakana syllabary from memory. The way I see it, it is like spending the summer lifting weights and jogging before hockey season.

For each Chinese reading of a kanji, an example compound word is given.
