But once Graylee dies, the actual plot makes a sudden appearance and it does not disappoint. Second, I get a little thrill whenever I read about twins in a work because I’m a fraternal twin myself. I’m definitely not knocking the premise because first off: This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The plot is stimulating, the characters are convincing, but what really gives heart to this story are the various relationship dynamics that you will find scattered in it from page one. I was captured and sucked inside. In this case; Graylee is her own worst enemy.

Meh, this sucks then. A big thank you to the author and Netgalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review. It was dramatic and actually a pretty good introduction to our two twin stars and what was going on. Want to Read Currently Reading Read. This sort of disparity is sufficiently odd that it needs to be sold airtight.

Having Graylee and Charlene sharing Charlene’s body–the primary storyline in “Entangled”–was inspired and fun. She’s among my favorite authors. The story itself was a cool concept but was hastily executed and didn’t go in depth enough for anything to really amount to much. For Graylee is a witch just like her mother and her sister; and they belong to a coven.

Will Gray ever return to her body or must she live out the rest of her existence in her sister’s body? Mainly, I just want to see where the next story leads.

You get the point. Charlene basically murdered her sister while sending another girl into a coma Fast forward several months and we find Gray in her new body, living a new life as Lee. The characters are three dimensional and evoked strong emotions from me. Later, he becomes her love interest and they proceed to have wild makeout sessions. Yet, Raj discovers that Graylee’s back and tries to help her unravel the mystery as to what exactly happened, and why another young woman who just so happens to be Charlene’s enemy from before: Oh, wait, they’re not “witches.

Adrian isn’t the goodliest of people, to say the least but there is something so lonely about him that I just totally fell for him.

Entangled (Spellbound #1)

Why is Graylee terrified of him? At school Gray was practically invisible, navigating the halls by herself or with only one friend, and in their coven of witches she had shown remarkable powers and was considered to be the Top Student, right before her powers began to fail her and she became a laughing stock.

I’m looking forward to reading the next one this time. She has no idea that she has been gone for 8 months or that she is now a duplicate because the REAL Greylee is still in Stacey’s body.

The author weaved a mystery so deeply that I now must immediately read the remaining in the series. Her sister has left precise instructions on how Gray should dress and behave.

Far from Graylee Perez’s character who was sensible and smart and far from extraordinary. For as many titles as I’ve read in the YA paranormal romance department this year, the premise to this excited me initially.

Of course, the more I read of Duplicity, the more I started to fall for these characters all over again.
